[WIP] Blacklight
Hey all, giving this comp a go for a bit of fun :) Going for blacklight themed lighting. Think of the forest in Avatar, or when you're down your local bowling ally and they turn the Uv lights on (Two very different examples there!). Anyway hope you like, all comments welcome :) Cheers! -

Quality work, the black over powers it for me, maybe an off black or something with blue since the wood has an orange tint might look nice, i can see it with a forest background (scene, hunting style) if you can pull that off. -

Noted down! Yeah I will plan my way a bit better from this time on :P I really like Uncharted 4's forest scene, so I think I'll go for an environment like that with some Mayan temple mix. -

I'm not sure if I'm getting better or worse... This is supposed to be a passage through a gnarled forest in which you can see a clearing... I seem to be scared of using larger highly defined brushes, it seems to me as they stand out too much... :S -

The green one looks the best to me, but that's just because i imagined him in some type of crazy forest after seein him reaching for the berrys... I'm sure any one of those color schemes would work great for him though! -

Meloncov, thanks for the kind words. Nah there is no moss it's just the renderer lighting I tried to simulate a bit different lights as if it was in a forest or something, I will post a bit clearer image later on. And good good I'm always unsure on the polycount so cheers for that! -

Sonic was good when he kept his mouth shut. When he got a million forest friends and a "personality" he became the shittiest videogame character ever bar Bubsy, imo. 1 and 2 are the only ones I liked. HMPH. -
