Whenever I see something like this, the first thing I think of is... "Literal point-and-click adventure games!?" Seriously though, I'm praying they incorporate this control scheme option into the new 360 version of Secret of Monkey Island. -

Right on, the game videos I saw were badass. I loved Butcher Bay, it was a unique FPS with lots of fun adventure and role playing elements, truly one of the few really well done movie tie-in games. -

Don't know how many of you have seen this game, it's a flash based point and click adventure. Has truly beautiful visuals, and really pleasant animation. http://machinarium.net/demo/ There is a full version for purchase, I've only just finished the demo now - very short demo, but thoroughly enjoyable. -

None of them outside of direct sequels are in any continuity with each other. Most of the stories for them are crap. Usually they involve a reluctant hero with a large sword that comes across a damsel and goes on an adventure to save the earth. Typical heroes journey. -

You can use a 1.50 one with the right trick, 1.00 ones are japan-only. Me? I've thrown ScummVM on my CF card and stuffed it into my PDA long ago. Touchscreen control for adventures is sooo much better... -

well, I like the type of games they make, like FPS, action adventure etc. I think I will be comfortable working there. also, do you think I will be tested? I mean I have already taken one. -

Well if you cant laugh then whats the point :) In the end we all want the same thing, and when all is said and done I think people will be happy and satisfied, admittedly it haven´t been the smoothest ride but what an adventure! -

The SummVM team released a v1.0 of the Residual Grim Fandango engine emulator at residualvm.org. For all the other classic adventures try ScummVM. It is very solid and very easy to use. Probably even easier than setting up DOSbox or UAE. -
