Changing drawscale is just fine, although you probably should stay away from ridiculous extremes. In UE3 I tend to work with landscape drawscales of 50x50x50.
Disabling the AA,AF in Nvidia Control Panel don't work, the AA is still visible in 3DO. I adjusted the Nvidia image settings to Performance and noticed slight fps increase. Also overclocked my card by 10-15% and fps increased by 3,4 frames. I made a test with a object around 5000 tris and 1x 8192x8192 Ambient Occlusion…
Yep, I tried that .ase script sometimes ago, but it did not work well and moreover I don't tink it works anyway with 501. I've had the very same experience as you, and I'm distressed, Modo being so good at many things. But UDK is a must for me, by now.
hah, what is that thing called, I'd love to mod it! I might have to start a P&P thread for my keytar, I plan on 3d printing some custom buttons as well as molding & casting some parts in clear resin so I can light them up with LEDs (that are driven by a color organ). Craziest of all, I want an opalescent white paint job…
Basically, try to avoid anything that makes the silhouette drastically change between two neighbouring LODs. Deleting edges on UV border is bad news too. Tangent space normal maps can be surprisingly robust at a distance, but still try to avoid introducing really big changes in vertex normal direction. As you get to the…
Just completed my first ward! Concept was by Allison Theus and animations by Nicholas McBride http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=505414741 Also, I've started livestreaming again at http://www.twitch.tv/organized__chaos/profile/ if anyone wants to follow me. I'm currently working on a Necro set with Robo!
What can I say))) try work in mobile project and VR become very easy ) Polygons is not main pain, in common - shader complexity, how hard and how many shader operations used for 1 result pixel calculation (clean geometry with simple diffuse shader is very fast for modern GPU, even on mobile you can run 300- 500K triangles…
Basically I have around twenty 50x20 meter dust particles/clouds.Their in large clumps scattered around the landscape.Kind of a low level/thin dust storm slowly moving across the land surrounding the town (but not entering it).I slightly modified a default dust particle found in cryengine called -…
Good grief! Straw man much? Your scope is cast far too wide here. I'm talking about technology as it pertains to media and art, not everything in existence. That's circular logic. Things have value when they serve a utility to people, not because they come from something else. The only real value inherent in it is how much…
Wow, $50,000 is a steep ask; I get why he's asking for that much, but I wonder if he'll hit it. Is there an android version planned? Considering the wide range of screen resolutions and ratios out there I doubt it, but it would be interesting to see him release for some setups.
