For some reason, the motherboard doesn't seem to take 4GB, even though it supports up to 13 or something. I have 2 other 1GB sticks of the exact same type, but when they are inserted the PC will not start. There's a beep, but it doesn't even make it to POST :(
Which part exactly do you struggle with? I see a tiling undermaterial and then a layer on top that masks it away.
