I don't know if I'm diggin the texture on the fiddle, looks a bit like sandpaper..or really course, but then again the fiddler is an elf/hobo type dude so i doubt he'd have Stradivarius.
If you want to practice human anatomy, why are you making it more challenging for yourself by trying to make a stylized elf character? Why not just do a human character straight up and learn from that?
Haven't posted on here in a bit, but have been busy working with @almighty_gir and @JLHGameArt on an upcoming project. Will be a bit more active now, but here is our Elf character beginnings... Base proportions: Armour variations:
i'm not sure if i'm a fan of the colors in the concept, but the overall shape is kick ass. looks like something right out of Lord of the Rings. I could totally picture an elf.....or maybe a ringwriath wielding that.
Very well done! Could inspire me to actually get the game. But I'm giving Everquest 2 a go on Monday first. Though agree with Satan, the Night Elf Running is sorta drawn out.
lol, thats exactly why i was coming in here to post NuclearTes hell, English is my major language and i edit 3 or 5 times. all i wanted to do was add my flat to DP's elf girl thread
Her feet look too small. They would also get a little wider towards the toes, right now they are tapering in, carrot like. Nice boots, though I'd expect a more 'natural' look for an elf.
It's kind of funny that WotC is running ads making fun of MMO's in favor of the table top game, something along the lines of "if you're going to pretend you're an elf you might as well do it with your friends"
moose, Quaggs, fiart, odium: - Thanks - i think i will do some re-thinking with cap and shoes later. Started rigging elf girl and also started making new female model yesterday!
Correction. Illidan with Undead powers had wings, horns, and hooves. You're modeling Night Elf Illidan (Demon Hunter). I agree that it would have helped if they renamed them to give them some distinction.
