@skodone: Hey man, really appreciate your comment. I should have mentioned this in first post, but I forgot. I'm making this based on the robot statue at Ghibli Museum. Here's a pic:
I think from all the post here, there is a sublime message, 3d pays more. There may be some limitations animation wise but it does pay more.Even Studio ghibli has closed. Its just like the olden days tvs and the flat ones we have now. The world is moving forward technology wise, so is animation. I am sticking with 3d then.…
Joe Hissaishi is apparently one of my favorite composers. I didn't realize it until just 'Googling' him. I was like, this sounds like something from a Studio Ghibli film, and then looked him up on Wikipedia and it all became clear... LOL. As for the big reveal, I would stick to something sub marine. The majority of the…
Hi yall! I finished this Ghibli inspired scene the other day. I'm an environment artist looking for work. Some lovely high res videos for you to peep on my Artstation! www.artstation.com/artwork/v2XlJE
I'm really amused and thrilled by the ''pod'' motions. It moves very swiftly and smoothly. Reminds me of that creature in one of hose Ghibli's movie or those long leds podt hings in Breath of the Wild....Such a curious project!

Literally all of the Ghibli Movies. All of them. Even the ones Miyazaiki didn't make are great. Go watch them now. In addition, watch Neon Gensis Evangelion (watch the TV show before the remake movies imo) its fantastic, in depth and psychological. Also badass mechs n explosions. Ghost in the Shell is great too, one of the…
After mainly working on interiors I wanted to try my hand at an outdoor environment. So I decided to try recreating a scene from Studio Ghibli in UE4. If you haven't seen the film here is the reference: And My version in UE4
Actually some of the most progressive views ive ever seen of women have been in anime. See Planetes, or Michiko to Hatchin, or any studio ghibli. And as always Blaizer, so elegantly high and mighty with your succinct style of engrish.
