Even if you don't go with Vimeo their compression guidelines could be useful. Also if your demo reel is mainly art with just some background music, you can probably drop the bit rate on the audio to something like 128 kbps without any issues.
hi everyone, this is probably a strange place to put a first post but i figured i´d post the url to the seemingly "new" orb website (at least that´s where i found it last time i looked for orb): http://engineering.soclab.bth.se/tools/177.aspx

Well that shoots them way beyond the competition ! It's a nice featuree that will only get better im sure . Though out of the 168 movies in my queue only 7 are available to watch streaming but im sure it'll get much better.
Thanks for replying. - Base Surface > Specualr Quality > Ver High (128) doesn't fix it - Switching HDRI to one of SP's default HDRIs doesn't fix it - The scene is setup for PBR workflow. Project config is: OpenGL and Color Configuration of OpenColorIO with Substance config (defaulting this also doesn't fix it). The shader…
The reviews look good on this BenQ, but I personally have never used that brand before or know about their reliability. http://www.ncix.com/detail/benq-gl2450hm-24in-widescreen-led-d4-76361-1078.htm What are your thoughts on this monitor? Would you go for something else within the same price range?
Just a fun little thing based off a concept from Next Level. this guy is 1013 polys and fills up (1)512 (1)256 (1)128 texture sheets for each channel. I got lazy in some parts but ohwell. Took about 9-10 hours.
For example: Linear to Gamma 0.43^(1/2.2) = 0.45^0.4545 = 0.6956 (actually 0.6814 if you use more decimals) Your 0.43/0.69 you asked for in 0-255 space would be: 0.43 * 255 = 110 (linear space) 0.69 * 255 = 176 (gamma space)
Hear hear, I've got a Sigma 35mm 1.4 with my name on it, if it actually ships by xmas. Though I'm a little curious why you went with a macro lens over something like the Nikon 85/1.4 or 85/1.8 both of which are excellent portrait lenses.
