Thank you Rexo12 for your advices, i will fix the lightning rightaway. And the joining section between the main body and the barrel shield is my fault in texturing, thanks for pointing that out. I will fix it too.
a few more progress babysteps. added front shield. pondering about doing another version with just the shoulderplates. and also added UV's to the lower back links, and back in general, as well as the hip area.
Overall, looks good. Only crit, is since you've added some plausible subtle wear over various metal parts (BTW nice touch) but not those polymer/plastic bits, especially the perforated barrel jacket albeit heat-shield?! It's designed for SF work, so highly likely there'll be noticeable discoloration and a few hard surface…
link always uses it together with a shield and not 2handed, so i guess its pretty much alright, its not supposed to be realistic or super believable, exegeration is part of the style :)
