Hello, we are looking for an artist to do some static or animated 3D meshes for our new game TombClimber 2 :-) It will be a shareware game, if we earn something, we will split the money. Here a link to the old 2D game, we want to do all again but in 3D now: http://magicstorm.de/?E[game]=8&E[lang]=0 The new game is already…

Thanks for the input guys. I won't waste my money on Devry or any high priced school. And I'll be working like a slave on my portfolio this summer after classes are over. Everything I have to show from the school year was rushed, and I really want to go back and redo a lot of things. That's mostly the reason I haven't…
Hey guys! ErichWK - I know what you mean on the house, I am still testing the objects within UDK and I have to work with the texture itself on the building. Hopefully I can start painting my own textures sooner than later because they always take longer than I expect. [N] - The stretched UVs have been fixed since last…
I agree with ericdigital before you go any further you really need to push your anatomy skills. I would start out drawing and sketching real people and sculpt different body parts in Zbrush. You could even crank out 3 pencil sketches a day. I don't mean to sound harsh but rather have someone give you this advice now than…
I moved the other one to the Technical Talk section since it fits better there - I should have put a pointer here so you realised what had happened, sorry. I'll close this thread now and you can get replies in the other one (that EricChadwick linked to).
Editing the normals so they're more uniform will help greatly with the lighting on foliage. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1149155#post1149155 After you've got them set up properly, you check "explicit normals" in UDK to make sure they carry over properly. The normal thief script EricChadwick talks about…
ErichWK: ^^ cheers dude, agreed on the face still Quaser: some cool points man. Hoping the paint glowy bits kinda break her up a little more, but still worth tweaking i think Frump: thank you :) Cool idea on the face, currently she's just got eyes closed but can't imagine it'd be too hard to seperate the polies and stick…
Oh and btw I think I found what I was looking for. A combination of the link above from EricChadwick and the script I found by running a search on cgtalk max forums like arshlevon suggested should do the trick. The script is a joystick manipulator that is exactly the kind of slider I need for this set up. Thanks again guys.
