I did it per screenshot. Tried to keep it as short as possible. For example http://ericchadwick.com/img/env_mmo_worldbuilding.html#treevillage Another polycounter did it with rollovers. I'll see if I can find it...
@ArtofHaakon Thanks for having a look and the tip. I haven't done any recent anatomy or form studies, but am thinking on doing multiple short 15-30 minute study sessions on different poses and lighting. B) @EricElwell Thanks for dropping in and for the feedback. Here are some of my old studies that I've done a few years…
@minorthreat: Hah thanks, ummm.. by persitently working on stuff and living the life of a pennyless artist.. hah. @ErichWK: Hah yeah that's actually tiling, I was messing with it trying to get a specific look and I didn't realize I posted it up like this. I'll post the final materials when I finish.
Hi, Thanks for your suggestions ! I guess I was making too big of a deal of possible texture deformations. I followed EricChadwick suggestion and UVed the band in straight line and used the blue channel of the normal map as a guide for texturing. yeah sorry man, I cant help with the zoom issue, haven't come across it myself. I never used switcher unfortunatly, I learned Max for work and they said if I had it everyone would want it so I just had to nut up and make do really. I dont have a problem with the rocker buttons tbh, that may be because I use my thumb to…
I had seen that mechwarrior movie before, very nice stuff. I've made a few battle sequences in sort of the same fashion, stringing together a bunch of clips in motion mixer, then animating a root object in time with the feet. I was able to use motion flow to create this scene: (12 meg file) TrogBattleSample.mov This was…
