Ok I tried a completely fresh install of Quixel 1.8 and it -seems- to be working. I am not currently running it in administrator mode but I am able to create projects so I'm hopeful!

Thanks guys :) Just a small quick update, Ive re-topologies everything...ugh...not fun :P He is sitting at 14k at the moment, thinking of adding some more here and there but we will see If I have the energy or not haha.
It is a free upgrade for all current users I remember. As far as stability goes much stabler than 1.8 and very stable from what I have experienced however I have not used the release version yet.
Is there any update on this problem? I have the same issue at work and at home. Legacy works fine, but 1.8 ignores everything but two material maps out of a total of five. Here's my input: This is what I'm getting back:
Hi Westley! Could you please specify what "this problem" is that you're experiencing? This would be best done in a new thread. This thread was created about an issue with Suite 1.8, which is several years old at this point and completely deprecated.
Because your diffuse is almost solid black. Replace it with a constant 0.5 or rgb 128 (solid neutral gray), and test. Also, try setting your dominate directional like to 1.5 or 5 brightness. And type ToggleHUD in the console.
