That is some professional level work! @pixelpatron is right, in that it looks more like a random screenshot from a game rather than a deliberately set up and oriented scene; and the fog does come off as a little odd (UE4's fog isn't very good right now). But awesome modelling and etc. etc. !
Thanks PixelMasher for everything. Also, thank you Bartalon, Jaston3D, and ArNavart. You guys really are great. Ended up posting it to my Art Station as well. Gave you all credit in the description for helping me https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lKn1z . Will probably submit it tomorrow to the company. Won't lie, I'm a…
@s1dK Thanks :) @Adelphia Thanks, I enjoy doing characters also. Wish I had more time for creature design and stuff. I would not do it professionally since honestly character art is really insanely controlled by ADs and GDs that is the main reason I think I never went that path. @pixelpatron more to come :) Last thing will…
haha ^^ - reverse half of my old new years resolutions, I overdid some things, need to calibrate! - finish my damn degree, about time. (yeaa...probably not gonna happen ^^) - buy more expensive clothes - buy more alcohol - do a metric fuckton of art. Repeat until 2035 when my robot clone is finished. - relax more. Will…
Thanks for posting that PixelMasher. It seems that by creating levels this way you have the most precision and artistic expression. But ya it must take a lot longer! I would really like to see that video of them assembling that level! And that was the pdf i was referring too. Great read. Thanks for all the responses and…
Ahh, I LOVE figure drawing! Wish I had more time to go to live sessions - pixelovely and artsyposes are fantastic, but there is nothing like drawing from real life, in my opinion :]
Sorry, probably need to clarify, I'm referring to all the little glowing pieces as being too busy. They look cool on the individual assets, but when you combine all those bits into a scene, it becomes visual noise. It is much less apparent the brighter the scene gets, I don't mind them so much in PixelMasher's paintover.…
PixelMasher. I think the majority of artists wouldn't want their work being used for profit without their permission. The argument here isn't about whether maniliamerc can get away with it. He probably can. The argument here is that it is the wrong thing to do and there are rules that are designed to protect…
The reason you guys are talking about teachers pay and pensions is because of the cuts to the public sector in the UK. So it's most public sector workers that are being effected not just teachers. Like what PixelMasher said, this is all part of the typical route our new conservative government (that is now in power) takes…
