I see waht Ben is talking about but I disagree. I mean we watched it didn't we? I'm very impressed with not only the work you displayed but the way you compiled your reel. Very well done, very efficient. If you can get a potential employer to actually watch the whole thing, I think they'll be very impressed!
looknig nice man so i have a question, is it possible to vertex paint ? if yes i would add some cuts in the geometry near intersections and then paint the vertex there to give shadow, or you could go nuts and subdivide that and use faogen to render amboc to the vertex. i might be talking out of my ass so excuse me if it…
look at this sodding great list of games for the DS, all released but only a 3rd of them make it out of Japan! http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-14-71-9g-77-1.html I thought America was the most highly sexed country? People seem to talk about it frankly enough. I'm sure I watched some documentary about it once.
you can have flat shaded to get it lighter but at the same time my computer monitor is pretty default but i can see everything on the models i have. Others are saying its too dark unless its only the environment they are talking about which is then confusing me. The only one i can positively ID as dark beyond reason is the…
[ QUOTE ] the handle-bar moustache and the glazed looking eyes all add to the realism. This just in; Handle-bar mustaches add to realism [/ QUOTE ] What the hell are you talking about? None of those dudes have a handle-bar mustache. One of the white guys has some lame looking stubble, but that's not even close to a…
i think the arms are a bit short. Again, it's hard to say due to the sleeves - but i think the elbows would line up near the bottom of the rib cage where the should be around the obliques...and the fingers should reach out to just past mid-thigh. Or it could be that there's an elbow bend i can't read through the sleeves…
This article tries to give the impression that spherical or planar mapping are the only two choices you have. I wouldn't use spherical or planar mapping either. I'd use relax on a model like this. That would fix every problem he outlines in a matter of seconds. A lot of the other issues he talks about are correct. However…
If street/graffiti artists have their own documentary, shouldn't games? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTlm6dU2xHk[/ame] http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/filmreviews/7369379/Exit-Through-the-Gift-Shop-review.html theres a lot to talk about in games, how its more of an art than programming, crunching, and the…
Are you talking about wearing those cheesey glasses, or about the general use of 3d in films? Personally I hate the glasses, that's for kids, but I love to see well done cgi effects. The only thing that annoys me is when the director and or producer decides that the storyline and scripting isn't as important as wowing you…
Hehe Mop as a matter of fact I think I tried that one script some time ago and somehow I believe something wasn't quite right about it (but I will double check) The one script I was talking about really deals with faces, in a very efficient way. Lemme find it (and eventually do a vid about it :P ), I'll post it in a minute
