Hey, I wanted to add some asymmetry to my base mesh as I'm finished with the xgen guide/hair on its scalps. Was wondering what would be the best way to move the xgen scalp geometry/guides into the position of newly changed base mesh? :)
Hey guys! Lurked on the forum and on the web today to find out if there's a way to do such a thing as move an object on the last used axis in 3dsMax 2013 as the middle mouse button does in Maya. I realize that's probably a kind of a noob'ish question and the thing is probably just a hardcoded feature but wanted to give it…
Thanks. Sure love to get some feedback. As for this work, it's and stylized digital artwork. Made using Blender 3D. This artwork is just a personal learning project, to develop my own art style. Zloith - is an combination of solar sail and propulsion type spaceship.
I love love love working in Substance Painter. It's kinda annoying that I put so much time into creating PBR masks for my work before the PBR workflow...and it was never as good. And with SP's generators, smart masks and smart materials, it's ridiculously easy. When I found SP, I took a huge sigh of relief and thought,…
Oooh, I'm a sucker for a character with big feathery wings. Love the connection point too into the back. I'm super curious how you're going to rig this down the line. Also, are you planning to keep the feathers as solid geo or make cards?
This is a great start! I think it could help to search "gondola boat plans" for example https://www.veniceboats.com/it-progetti-piani-barche-gondola.htm They have a peculiar shape, with a strong dip in the middle. Your model could also use more evenly-distributed loops, to give it a smoother curvature.
I like where this is going. I think your mom might be reacting to the lighting on the grayboxed meshes, how they have darker shadows. One quick fix could be to add a darker sky up above, and optionally a bit of vignette. These make it instantly a bit more dangerous looking.
I have been working on this small scene for a while i was looking for feedback on the feeling of the environment or if it need that extra to make it pop a little more or if i should just move in to texturing phase . all the renders are through keyshot and just standard mats . thanks for your time
A couple years ago I was messing with some environment art in unreal but I chose to remove it from my portfolio as I felt it muddied my applications. It would be nice to be able to apply to more jobs but I dont want to undercut the concept art https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAOizYBmusE
ok, I just made a bar door(don't know the proper name. The door that swings up to allow the bar tender to get behind the bar). I have the mover working, but it only works when I jump on the bar and stand on it. How do I make it work when I approach it? Also, the door isn't receiving the same light for some reason. I'm…
