pictures talk more, but here i tried to make something from what was presented: typed the steps i did to get this, maybe you need to figure out your monitor profile settings..maybe you see this but we see and overbirghtened img. did the rest: (bit different but not too much) idc if you use them. -

Idk about exporting the vertex colors, but you can bake the diffuse map with the procedural tex and then bake to the mesh once in Houdini. -

Are you trying to do with with UDK or UE4? I'm pretty sure you could do this with Blueprints in UE4 but idk about UDK. -

Did anyone found a solution to this...? Idk why but 4r7 seems really wierd... with the undo history too, it sort of counts everything in it. -
