For each model, you should have one 'beauty shot', where the model is posed (+good facial expression), has good lighting, good shaders, good camera angle/composition, and some kind of background… -

You shouldn't be conceptualizing at this point. You need to focus on replicating proven forms before you start flexing your muscles of creativity effectively. Download this guy's Asaro head Ztool. Literally try to replicate it on your own. Ignore the lackadaisical designing of chaps and thongs, focus on making a good head.… -

Thanks, the corridors lighting took forever to work out. The model has been redone :D ..so i think i prefer the new model, yeah as far as the polycount, that accounts for the whole model, the head hits around 3400 (3800 with eyes) Yeah the original design for the arm had big fingers and a big hand, but i think normal hands… -

Nah, you could get it for maybe 345 or 340, but honestly, that's not worth the risk for something as valuable as this. Just get it at newegg. Or via eBay, of course, but don't try any weird sites over a 2-3% discount. -

And here is the helmet finished in low poly. Are 3440 tris. I´ve made the normal maps with the maya transfer maps, and the texture in photoshop.
