It did and it didn't. What story was there, really, in Half-Life? That's why they were able to convey it through the world. Freeman, as a character, is about as deep as a puddle.

I noticed that you can't mirror a mesh, then tumble it, you're locked to orthographic views, and there's no real 'draw' tool.
