Interesting. I always bake in SP with DirectX and export as .tga so I've never encountered this issue. Glad it worked out in the end. :) -

It does export it, but it's possible that SD doesn't actually read/display it when you load in a sbsar. SP does read and use it for sure. -

Go to Alllegorithmic YT channel. There are tons of tuts. There's even a complete workflow series Maya-SP-UE4 which takes you through all the steps.
