Hey guys, I have a question for those working in either the film or gaming industry. For reference though, I'm trying to break into the game industry. I would like to hear it from both worlds though. I have three more weeks left of classes before I get my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Computer Animation. It's not…
Thanks guys. Mr Significant - Not sure to be honest, there have been some discussion around the forums recently about whether it is best to start off learning zbrush, or start off learning the more technical 'bread and butter' skills like poly modeling (is that what you mean by 'theory'? or did you mean like anatomy…
This is the part I was commenting on. It sounds like you were saying that Libertarians believe that the aggressive and the better equipped will take from their "lessers". But reading back I may have misunderstood. It sounds like you may have been trying to say that those people who are aggressive and better equipped (mobs…
this looks great! something i would say is the door (someone might have mentioned it already). even though you changed the color of it, i feel like the wood needs a lil bit of break-ups here and there. the lines i read on the door go straight down like that and well i think that's what giving me the illusion of the door…
Wall of fucking text, man. You've pretty much presented a story in the worst possible way you could, so I'm not going to read it. I like my eyesight, and your clever plan to destroy it will not work on me. Split it into multiple paragraphs. Do so intelligently, just adding line breaks in the middle will not work. In…
cryrid - Yeah, in these kind of cases it seems like it would be better just to break my UVs and do it that way. cw - Thanks for the explanation, these are going into Unity so I'll need to do some research and see if there's anything we can do to get the tangent space to jive better. I didn't mean to come off as someone who…

Since Win 98 and no BSOD?! [/ QUOTE ] BSOD was pretty much the default desktop in 98 :P Vista's pushed me over the linux…
Finished Entrants (eligible for 1st–3rd place): * 1st The Freelancer – Alexander This character model is a clear standout. It demonstrates a
comprehensive and well-structured development process, fulfilling the requested
breakdown with exceptional clarity. Each individual component reflects a high
degree of intentionality,…
This looks fantastic! =) I do agree with the others though, at the moment it reads a bit more like a barn than a cabin. The details are really strong, especially the vegetation growing up the planks and the aged, damaged roof. Those elements work beautifully and add a lot of character.
A scale/proportion comment of mine would be about his build. He appears to have an upside down Triangle build, which looks a bit cartoonish and out of character for the Halo series. Very broad shoulders, a thin waist and skinny legs. Part of what makes the original armor designs so good is that they look sleek and fast…
