hi, I am working on an IOS game and need an environment artist who can create and texture stylised art . if you are interested please send me a PM thank you
If there is any hope of any workflow sharing, I too would love to see how you all went about making such unique and stylised characters, what your workflow was. :poly003:
It's always good to have lots of references to nail your anatomy, even if you're doing something stylised. I would try and block in the planes of the face first before pushing the shapes.
Oh totally. I agree with that. I just feel this environment to be stylised so some artistic freedom is alright in regards to place/time and general atmosphere. Sorry for going offtopic though.
it be better if you ould expand more on your purpose. is this for game specs? or just beauty render, and what are you shooting for realistic or stylised. overall id say its looking good
I've not yet settled on a design but I've sketched out a couple of different possibilities. I'm definitely making this character more stylised and so have tried to push the shapes and proportions Any feedback is always awesome to hear
Hi Brian, Thank you for taking the time to look at my model. You make a good point with your observations on the realism of the clothes vs. the stylisation of the hair. I appreciate the feedback! :)
Looks really good, I really like the face The shoulders and upper arms are still off though (unles its meant to be stylised?). Anyway, a PO to show what I mean..
Back to work and finding it hard to fit these in, struggling with getting these to look realistic, looking quite stylised atm I need to work smarter... Also video messed up on this one :poly141: #017
Looks really cool and stylised. The wood has too much of a value gradient on it, gives a weird look to the barrels that are lying on the ground and the slats on the top. Agreed on the previous points, especially the stripey wood.
