There is also a student license of Modo available: http://www.luxology.com/store/education/index.aspx?contact=Education_Version So I guess that works out to $149 X 2 = $298 + $395 = $693 spread out over 2-3 years. That's not too bad for Modo. -

I believe Twighlight Princess Link was about 6900 tris, if that's any use. But is textured with tons of little textures rather than one big one. A lot of the TP meshes are floating around online, shouldn't be too hard to find with a google search to look at. -

Someone linked me to this tablet a while back. I haven't tried it out myself, but on paper it appears to almost on par with the Intuos 3 (the resolution falls halfway between the 2 and 3) while retailing for around half the price. The down side is that the pen is battery operated.… -
