vailias: I worked on a tucan texture for 15 minutes, and then decided that the model was too defined to make something like that work ;). You did a great job though!
with 3ds max it's generally field of view which gives u that... or messing around with the lenses... like 15-28mm lenses can really give the deep perspective.
@ Mikezoo Turnaround time for the model+outfits was around 15 days I believe, not including polish we did as the game was developed and added more graphical features.
Did the base meshes of the weapons in blender today. the last 15 min were a race to make the sword and now I have to leave! Going to sculpt these this evening.

I think I'll give Irrational a little benefit of the doubt, it seems hard to really showcase the openended environment with fully dynamic events in a 15 minute trailer...
