That looks awesome man! Super job! Are you the same fella who posted this back in August on cgchat.com? http://www.cgchat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25111 [Hrm...you mentioned "rendition"...so I'm assuming it is a character that several people have attempted? So perhaps that wasnt your post on cgchat.com].
The other change was that they doubled the lines per inch of resolution on the Intuos3. Intuos2 has 2540 lpi and the Intuos3 has 5080 lpi. I don't know how that compares to a intuo2. I went from a graphire2 to a intuos3 and the extra lpi was definatly noticable. I don't use the side buttons hardly at all. I do like the…
Looking good for the limited resources you've got to work with. The guy on the left hand side looks like he's lacking something... perhaps a bit more dpeth, a few darker patches and what not in the blood on his chest or something. I know working with the 256 colour textures is a bitch. What does Mundus Vult Decipi mean?
Below an example. Not mine but from a site that reviewed the tool. I have been playing with it a little bit because I need to scale a couple of images up by about 250%. The SmartScale results are sharper with kind of jagged edges instead of blurred ones that you get with standard PS scaling. If you clone the image and…
Hey guys thanks for the comments. -Dom- yeah dude it is a character I picked off of the mythic concept page, lol. Sorry I forgot to mention that. -Rhinokey- yeah I didnt know that name of the artist, I admire his work. -Dekard- I talked talked to some people and they told me the flow there was fine...I also had a 2500 tri…
I don't know Dane, it looks like they used their texture space fairly well altthough you could easily scale that to 256 texture without loosing any detail. It looks loads better than the majority of this recent boom of quake 3 models. Good work, keep it up.
Agree with post above. When i ever have a anatomy query i usually take a look in "Anatomy Drawing School". It have horses, monkeys, pigs etc as well. http://www.amazon.com/Anatomy-Drawing-Sc...2551&sr=8-1 Practise makes perfect and some day it might just say whoops and you work with it for a living. Take care!
Good purchase, Rick! Daz, it's funny because my wife and I are both originally from California. (She is from SF.) When we moved up here to Seattle, we were extatic to be able to purchase a house. So we bought a nice little place that needed a bit of work in a prime neighborhood for $250,000 in year 2000. The locals told us…
Socket 754 sucks unless you're going with a budget system. The biggest gripe with it is you can't utilize dual channel memory. The memory on a graphics card determines how high the resolution on the textures will be. For most new games, I'd say go with 256mb at least, but 128 will do if that's the best deal you can find.…
