i wouldn't give up just yet. As klunk says, the hard bit is working out which one to delete but that isn't necessarily an impossible problem. You need to know what the situation is. eg. if you have two elements that are separate but contiguous it's fairly simple if you've managed to achieve a maya modelling situation and…
There is the essentiel element for this Egyptian assets set: I have made vivid colors because the Egyptian elements I'm working on are an interpretation of what they could have look like in the past. To wath the wireframe : https://sketchfab.com/models/57556db7c0684b3ebe1d8301c78d882b
The updated one lacks definition and contrast with all of the elements blending together into a hard to read mess. I think you need to find a happy medium between the old one with it's excessively stark, black shadows but clearly separated elements and the new one.
Thanks! Gonna correct and post today a new version! Many stuff is not ready. As you see there is some free space on UW. Also as im nooby i fail UW. Elements scaled not proportionly - All the elements must have the same size.
Little more progress. Not sure I'm happy with the oval shape but as it will most likely fall into shadow after the central elements are placed I'm gonna move on. I wanted it to be a machine element but I don't want the background getting overly complicated and noisy.
Serp: here is a tutorial: A. select your highpoly element(s) B. key them at frame 0 C. key them at frame 10 D. move them at frame 10 E. Repeat for low F. Repeat for the rest of the elements. =D
I know of at least one top studio who combine elements of a tangent space map overlayed with elements of an object space map. produces quite a nice looking diffuse texture. Whether its technically accurate or not (I doubt) but it looks ok.
Mixed some of the elements I liked from the clothing, lets see what you all think! :D Maybe it's too heavy or something doesn't work properly with the rest of the elements, I will keep working on it and see what comes out of it :D

Hi! Looking at the last screenshot, I'm wondering why the highpoly is not smooth-shaded? To ensure it's not related to something else, you could isolate the part showing the issue, see if it persists. That normal map looks to me like there's is overlapping geometry or UVs going on? Ideally share meshes (isolated elements…
