Wanted to share a link to Pixel fondue for those that may not have visited. The site has free training videos for Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance, MODO, Scripting, Photoshop and more. New content weekly ...sometimes daily. http://www.pixelfondue.com/training/
Looks awesome! The cloth looks great is it all simulated simulated in marvelous? I was trying to make magazine pouches for my character in marvelous but i didn't have much control over the shape and folds so I gave up and modeled them. Anyways i don't see how this character could be of royal descent (as your title is…
I've started a new project and here is a couple of concepts. Always wanted to create the whole outfit in Marvelous Designer and practice building more complex clothing and layering. Feel free to check out more images on my Artstation page.
Is bringing substance textures into Maya easy enough? And can I get similar results to what I would get in Marvelous? Its quite a lot of hair ( fur on a jacket) so converting the hair to geo might be too heavy.
Definitely stylize it a load more. With something like TF2 you might want to go with the brutish like body of the heavy for reference, or get the old character sheets from the Marvel Comics books. Best of luck man, and keep it up.
Outsourcing + lazy QA = this: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/marvel-s-agents-of-shield-appears-to-borrow-mass-effect-3-art-update/1100-6417041/ There's still a chance neither party actually cares which seems to make it fine...
Really interesting, I simply never thought about it, but now that you mention it, and elds description of it, it makes perfect sense. I always marvelled at it the hair in FF as well, and ALWAYS wondered why they never appeared to have sorting issues!
blooming marvellous :) Looks a bit complex (for me) at first glance but I am sure I could get used to it. Lux did mention something last year about working closely with the the foundry programmers and there we have it
These two have been getting some much deserved press with this book. They've been defining the Ratchet & Clank games for a decade. They need to do more work with Marvel. I loved the Spider-cat comic they did a bit ago.
