The first style you had for your bridges suits the scene and setting better in my opinion. Even if the first made me think that if they had materials strong enough to make such supports possible, they wouldn't need suspension bridges in the first place.
Extremely fun visually. I had a good time but was very disappointed that it was a bridge movie. The second Matrix Movie was ok as a bridge because it was very clear through marketing that it was part of a trilogy. I had no idea going into this one that that was their intent. - BoBo
I'm with rens. This is bulky in a vague way, but lacks the shapes to look like a strong woman, and many of the shapes from the concept. shitty paintover (drawover?) -- Major things to look out for: -Skeletal structure! Women have leaner skeletons than men. Muscle then curves into these set points. Shoulders are WAYY too…
Have you tried bridging these four instead of the other two? It seems like you've selected the other edges and there it an edge loop inbetween which might be why it doesn't bridge: Also try using Mesh->Cleanup on your mesh. It will help with non-manifold geometry and n-gons.
Is there a way to import Megascan decals directly into a 3DS Max scene? Also, when I export the decal via Bridge for Vray, I get the Bitmaps, however the decal doesn't have an alpha to allow me to use it within 3DS or even Photoshop. Is there an export setting in Bridge that will allow this? Cheers
At the moment I'm doing a wooden bridge. This takes some time, because i have no practice with wood structures. The question for me now is: Is one plank enough and the viewer doesnt see that the bridge has always the same instanced plank or do i have to do more different pieces?
Looks awesome. For the face flatness that poop's suggesting, I think it really lies in the bridge of the nose and the chin area. In the paintings, the bridge seems to drastically blend right into the forehead, with little slope. And the chin seems like it should have less outward curve. Looking spot-on man, keep it up.
now, now sundance no need to insult another series in a thread about a series that has strayed so far from the creator's vision its not even funny. "If I won't hear it on the bridge of the battleship Iowa, I won't believe it on the bridge of the starship Enterprise." - Gene Roddenberry circa 1966
Texturing series of several Environment assets for my latest (still wip) project "The Dock". All textured in MARI, modeled in Maya (its all low poly), Normals done in ndo2. Crate (part 1): Platform (part 2): Bridge (part 3): Dock+Bridge animation (The Dock part 4) Hope you guys like it, comments/feedback are most welcome!
Yess! My man! I’m an environment artist with a background in organics. There are not many problems left that I would not myself try to script around, but the biggest choke point for me has been retopologizing and adding UV seams to lowpoly organic models. I'll use these rocks as an example: When I do a highpoly to lowpoly…
