I went with this one: I hope its not too thin. I use the cloth mouse pad. It feels better on wrist. This is also the first asymmetrical mouse ive ever had. Will be quite an experience. lol…

Do you have adaptive degradation toggled on? It's assigned to the O key by default. Not sure whether it's the same as the "don't degrade" option you mentioned.
