You should be fine with a consumer AMD GPU. It's mostly the FirePro series that have driver issues with SP.

It doesn't close like the SP so the screen will probably get scratched pretty quick. To me that's a disadvantage.

You have no opacity input. Opacity in the translucent material is transparency amount. Did you add an opacity channel in SP?

If exporting out of Zbrush make sure you uncheck the "groups" option in the export settings. As SP sometimes has issues with that.
