My wacom is reaching the end of it's life it's not reading pressure sensitivity as much as I would like and at 70$ this would be cheaper than the wacom I want. I just wonder how fast we will see other companies making plug in's, or integrating this technology. I would love to sculpt in z bush with this. -
Re: Efficient Texture Blurring
Box/Gaussian Blur or a Lerp between two states of the texture with the latter having another lerp (a la Hemispherics) to determine coloration of the blur needs to be heavy. The prior usually costs around the 70-80+ instructions on the lightest while the latter costs around 20+ pending on how much on steroids you put it. -

Hey guys do you know if there is a way to make the camera look straight up at 90 degrees when in the editor preview? Like when you go Play From Here and get to run around in your level? Currently the most I can look up is at like 60-70 degrees -

Thanks for the kind words! :smiley:@dcneil for gunsmith settings I use a phong albedo boost of 70 IIRC, with a low phong exponent on the chrome elements and high on the dark areas. I'm using a custom phong exponent texture that I made by inverting the RGB, altering the brightness and levels, and then pasted into the alpha… -

You could make your UV map like this and save a ton of space and use around 70-80% of space.All the X2 marks indicate overlapped UV islands to save space. NOTE This is not a perfect example as you could get some problems with normal maps and your texture wont be much unique. -

I learned ctrl+b (to toggle bg color) or something like that after using Maya for 5 years. Very humbling. But yeah you just get in your workflow. I've used Phoshop since 1993 and I'm sure 70% of the things you can do in it I have no idea the shortcuts. -

Monday: violent winds highs in the 60's Tuesday: a little breezy, hit the 70's Wednesday: Early sleet and sporadice snowflakes throughout the day. Windier'n hell in temps in the 20's. Texas! I have Monday off and I bet you a dollar I will be playing golf that day...comfortably -

duh, all 3, but i can say out of the cureent generations i play xbox about 70% ps2 about 25% and GC about 5% of the time. so i don't give a rats ass how orriginal nintendo may be, just nothing from them really interests me.. -

at this point I think everyone has already voted, so what's the point of hiding your choice. I voted OBAMA. Currently, Obama is ahead by 70 electoral votes. But the night is very very early and we have 6hrs ahead of us until all polls are closed. It's anyone's race at this point.
