This tut is also from Amir and is very in-depth. Based around mudbox, worldmachine and cryengine but the principles are universal. 8 parts: [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0o3bqoM0Qg"]How to create a terrain for Cryengine and UDK Part 1/8 - YouTube[/ame]
I love the idea of her sinking Mt. Targon, I like 6 and 8 the most but 8 is the most dynamic it just looks a little odd with the staff coming from the top, maybe flip it and have the staff sweeping in from the front of the image?
Ok thanks! I'll try to make her more fleshy and appealing. Maybe i'll try to scale the head up a bit. Now she's 8 1/2 heads tall alsmot 9. I'll try to bring her closer to 8.
You get to work for 8 and a half minutes, crank one out for a minute and a half, and then go back to work again for another 8 and a half minutes. Ultimately, you will feel better and your dick will feel worse -- and it may look very bruised.
i really enjoyed System shock 1, remember i had to upgrade my RAM from 4 to 8 just to run the damn thing! (or was it 8 to 16, i cant remember it was a long time ago, but it was a big deal back then haha)
Hello, Heres a BB-8 rig I made for people to tinker with (and test putting stuff up for download). https://www.highend3d.com/maya/downloads/character-rigs/c/bb-8-free-rig-for-maya heres an example of the rig in action. https://vimeo.com/251125676
It might not matter terribly once the textures are applied but the normal map banding is obvious at the moment, did you bake that sucker in 8bit? 16bit might be better for portfolio purposes (or 8 bit dithered for viewer... actually, I wonder if it reduced to 8 bit on export...)
you should hook your gloss into the alpha channel of a linear interpolate node, with a low value of 8 and a high value of 256. your node should look like this: a: 8 (constant) b: 256 (constant) alpha : glossmap plug that into your spec power.
heh nice. Now when you say "a day each" do you mean 8 hours of work, 8 hours working with a lunch break, coffee break, stretch break, IM break, etc, or one of those 20hr long crunch days?
Any of y'all have an 8-core PC, or quad-core-with-hyperthreading? I plan to add 8-core support pretty soon, and I seek guinea pigs to help test it! (I only have two cores over here. And a ball-mouse. And a pet dinosaur.)
