i wasn't saying the drawing was inaccurate... my point was that it is A drawing of the full view of an existing weapon from one angle at 720 x 315... that is a highly limited amount of information to be modeling something off of and not what i would consider reference, maybe a piece of reference, but not the reference...… -

Yeah it looks like that thing only does component, no VGA/DVI/HDMI so i'm out of luck there. It looks like the Roku box thing can do HDMI->DVI, but i'm not sure what resolutions it supports, the monitor I want to use won't be native 720/1080 so I'm a little worried about that. i used this extensively a few months ago when it first rolled out. the compression artifacts are noticeable on a high resolution PC monitor, but much less so on a big TV at 720p. there was some lag but mostly everything was absolutely playable. assassins creed and splinter cell conviction both performed wonderfully, though… -

I would strongly recommend repacking your UVs. The idea with UV packing, especially for games, is to use your space in the most efficient manner possible to get the most out of your resolution. You have a lot of gaps and poorly utilized space in your UVs, it looks like you may have used an automatic unwrapper or UV packer… -

There are a couple of plug and play (using the term very loosely) in the UDK forums.
