I saw an article in 2007 about Halo 3 that talked about Bungie using heat maps to evaluate trouble spots. Maybe it's common practice now? Any FPS devs want to chime in?

Found this little gem over at gamedev. Arguably funner than Unreal 2007 and better creative direction too! http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=467483 It's only an alpha build though, so if you tab away it will crash.
I'm working on a high poly model of a Jumo 004 jet engine. It's an early jet engine that was used on Me262's. Aside from the cylinders, it's filled with many 'unique' shapes and is making for a fun exercise. This is a work in progress, I'll post as more is completed. And this one of the references:
