I've been contacting individual testers for a while now, to make sure 0.01 works fine before mailing all the testers. 0.02 is most likely going to be the "first" one that is sent to all testers. 0.01 has some nasty issues that should be sorted before it's out :)
You can do that with a multitexture I believe. Just using an alpha as the blend. Personally I would just have the sand on separate geometry above the other one .005 and alpha vert the edges. But that won't render out of Maya. You'd have to use an alpha texture for it.
Your files need to be named like this --> KEN.1001.EXR, KEN.1002.EXR And you need to use the VRayHDRI node to load the textures in max. I could be wrong i used max the last time 2014.
thats just silly. Really, how is anybody suppose to keep track of 70 000 + sites? How could they be sure all of the sites were being used to distribute music and movies? That just doesnt make sense to me
According to this post, the 258.xx drivers should work http://area.autodesk.com/forum/autodesk-maya/autodesk-maya-2011/unable-to-switch-viewport-to-high-quality-render-mode/page-last/#When:12:27:00Z

I think I saw somewhere earlier in this thread that there will be a PS1 emulator for Android, but I don't recall anything about PS2. Either way, I won't be getting this. Haven't had a portable gaming system since around 2002 as PC and Xbox have been enough for me.
Shit you are right. Still had them on the 1002 space and have the "is UDIM" to false. I will retry the whole set-up a second time. Seems I've been sloppy with my approach. Thanks for pointing that out! I'll try the full object/set-up a second time.
