This is high on my wishlist in Houdini, I hope you'll consider branching out. Zremesher is great for organics, but hasn't been ideal for hard surface retopo, is this something that can be addressed this time around? -
Re: Zbrush 4, layers and polypaint issue
Layers are topology dependant and are tied to the sub-div level they are created on. DM and DS, when active, are designed to change topology frequently. Layers in ZB are in need of a serious update, which is top of my wishlist for ZB5. -

There is still more to do with handplane and Luke and I would like to develop a baking tool. I have a giant wishlist of features for a baking tool and I think that would be something others would benefit from as well. -
