It's announced at 5pm on Friday everywhere, but because of time zones, the 5pm Friday in New Zealand is the better part of a day ahead of 5pm Friday in Hawaii. -

I love Hawaii, I've lived here all my life. For the most part it is paradise except for the very high cost of living. That said, I'd be out of here in a heartbeat with a good job offer. -
