Well, effity eff eff. I bought the ipad mainly for that reason and now you're telling me about this monitor? I should keep an eye out for these things. ;) I'm waiting for Scott Pilgrim on dvd/bluray. It's too wonderfully geeky not to have.
It won't be obsolete. AFX and Nuke are used for different needs. AFX usually is better for smaller projects, allows you to work faster with its layered structure. And it is go-to software package for motion design. Nuke is excellent when it comes to bigger, much complex projects, especially compositing for movies.
@Faf Yea, absolutely agree with you  the main idea its to make the enjoyable hand painted process. Anyway, your work its AWESOME! I'll follow you as a source of inspiration! Keep rocking Faf!
I don´t know. Neither the AFG in the tutorial nor yours is accurate. Both versions miss the really "diffucult" parts like the smooth transitions. Don´t get me wrong, I love your rifle. But I own some of the modeled parts (like the AFG) and these parts really stand out not to be accurate.

It's only good until they run out (and they don't say how many there are)

As for using AD to sketch with, well once I became comfortable dealing with each layer - masked curve grouping and various output settings this…
You should donate to the EFF as they've been fighting crap like this for years and although it's not likely this particular bill will pass, it's just one in a number that are currently pending and undoubtedly just one in a long line of bills to come. Worth noting also that the EFF is one of the charities in the Humble…
BFF is an older exporter, it was made for converting Max5 files into previous versions. But it's made using Maxscript, which hasn't changed much, so it might still be the best supporter of Max entities. http://www.scriptspot.com/bobo/darkmoon/bff/ FBX is another possibility, supports a lot of entity types. Make sure to get…
