Nice Neox! I like his shape except for the tail. I feel like it's too snake like. Whales/dolphins tend to have a lot of muscle/mass leading up to the actual flat part of the tail. It seems to me that without that muscle, he's not going to be able to flap it very well? Great shape overall though. . . My car gets dirty… -

Usually when it comes to anime style, the face is very flat. Not flat flat, but round flat ;P And the only thing protruding is the nose, usually in diamond shape with shorter bottom end. -

Looks great overall. Biggest feedback I can give is that your roof feels flat because the tiles appear to be paper thin. I think if you added some bevel to the bottom of the tiles it may help. Good progress man. I would smooth out those wings slightly, they're coming across really flat. I would also add some highlights to the texture where the seams are to make them pop, as well as some shadows to sell the folds/curvature in the flags. For most materials, this makes sense. But gemstones are better done as pure geometry, since refraction and dispersion are essential. Why would you want to make a flat gemstone material? -
