My starting pay as a Jr. Artist was 14K a year. Of course this was back in 1993 and I was 18. The average is pretty well represented in the Game Developer salary survey that fmnoor posted. -

I think your illustrations rely on black outlines way too much. I know you are going for a comic style, but they make your drawings look dead and amateur. Color your lines with similar shades of hues to create volume in a way that color actually works in the real word. Black doesn't happen in the real world and outlines… -
