Being realistic seems to be based, in this case, on the subjective. One persons "realistic" might not be the "realistic" others see. Whether you think proper support for multiple normals is going to happen or not is kind of moot, since its up to the core developers. Given the latest proposal for 2.7 and onward, as well as…
Hi there! I'm working on a diner that features a lot of steel, but I'm not quite sure how to achieve a realistic look for the metal materials in Unreal Engine 5. I was wondering if there are specific lighting settings I should tweak to enhance their appearance or any scalar parameters I could incorporate into the material…
as a geocacher I hike through stuff like this all the time and this strikes me as pretty realistic. Like different then the normal idea of realistic game art like it has a really realistic feel too it. Not over the top. good work

My references to sculpting the tiger were more cartoony. The armor, being so detailed, really looks too realistic. I will try to improve the…
I understand accomodating for a substantial critique would be way too much of an inconvenience at this point, but for the sake of possible insight/future endeavors I'd like to share a few thoughts: I personally have a big problem with the discrepancy between the attempt to stay authentic to the original style (colors and…
Well it can be interpreted in two different ways. "game ready realistic characters" (realistic looking characters) or "realistic game ready..." ( might mean that you cant have a 50k character) I just wanted to be sure what Blackslashart meant. :)
It could be your "show realistic texture in viewport" button in the material window. I had a similar issue, click and hold down the button and try the shaded/realistic options. I can't remember which it is that works for me, I think it's realistic.
Really nice work, I also agree about the handles, I kind of like the molten lava on the axe, it looks really nice and is a great stylish choice even though it's not realistic, but as shrew81 said, fighting dragons with a realistic axe ain't realistic either. =P
