you are worried about hte drums having one pedal.. the guitars have 5 buttons... well 10 now with the solo things.. thats still only 10.. theres 12 notes to music. not counting octaves and all that jaz. my point is, its a game, and not real drums, and not real guitars. -

strange caustics
Hello, was trying out some caustics last night as part of my course work and got a little confused when I got strange reflections on the models and coloured lines. I thought it my be the refractions set to low but let me know what you guys think. The material is mental ray water with a custom colour. One is lake the other… -

Hei guys, i need some feedback on my latest project! I've start it long time ago but i dont have much time to finish it, in this days i continue texturing it. Want to get an Anime look, like the concept. Will render it in Unreal Engine to get a great ocean shader. Whant do you think about it? :) -

Your best bet, is to do separate parts, try modeling a head, then maybe practice some hands, you'll never learn (well, maybe not never) but its kind of like getting out of the kiddy pool and jumping into the middle of the ocean and hoping your experience in the kiddy pool will help you reach shore. -

This is a "space" tugboat. We thought it made sense that these large ships that came down to the planet would need help docking just as a ship does in the ocean. I took the screen shot form the wrong side, so you can't see the name on the hull...go me. Here's a screen that's in the Art of EVOLVE book: -

Yeah, I still need to add grunge and dirt to the windows. Once I get my teacher to help me with an ocean shader it should look better also Update time (probably wont end up using this...) And a door that Im not happy with at all. So blurry, even though a lot of the UVs are mirrored. -

Hmm but all my grass is placed through decolayer in Unreal, doesn't seem viable to export that back to max. Here's an update; Env should be almost good. Still some tweaks here and there, optimize the trees. And the background terrain is almost untouched. Gotta add some better materials (scale is wrong) and an ocean…
