Well... I pretty much never snap faces to be honest. I almost never snap anything other than verts, since I find them a lot easier to manage. If there's a face I want to snap I'll hold CTRL and shift over to vert mode before doing the snap. Just a personal preference. It's also pretty rare that I use any other snap type… -
