i tried fixing that, but i couldn't work out how to make it sharper. i selected the smallest possible brush, but i still could only draw those huge 'blobs'. Can someone explain or post a link how i can achieve this in CE3
That though goes into Bibendum counter argument that certain select personal or group experience or viewpoint cannot be used how much the industry is or isn't sexist as a whole Even if the Taiwan industry is like that throughout. Does that same attitude happen in most Western Countries? In most Studios?
Sorry about the image size. Heres a link to the picture which should be big enough. And I already tried removing some of the edges around the selected area that Im working on. Thanks for the quick response though! http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/ab313/chasebueker/ChamferProblems.jpg
If you want to reshape a lot of vertices at once, you can use Blender soft selection. Hit "o" on keyboard, this let you use it. For more info, please take a look on Blender documentation: http://download.blender.org/documentation/NaN_docs/Manual2.0/Pet.1.html
You can change the output in the bitmap map rollout. You just chec 'enable color map' and then you can select the R G B channels and zero out the ones you don't want to use. At least I think that should work. :S
Have you checked scriptspot? Some pretty ancient scripts are still on there. You can also do this manually pretty easily... scale time 200%, then select the keys and Shift-move them 1 frame. You probably want to change the in/out tangents though.
The simplest way is just to turn the lighting off in Maya. In the viewport menu, select Lighting->Use No Lights. You can then screenshot your object when you need to present it. Could you post a shot of your WIP. It'd make it easier to make suggestions
You can also convert to epoly and select all the verts and do connect. add a material to the model set it to wire. You want to make a copy of your object, it just a suggestion. then add a push with a value of .1 to that so it appears on top of the regular object. render.
Volume select is where it's at! You can do all sorts of cool things with it. I really wasn't aware of it the longest time. The downside of procedural things in max is that it really gets a bit unwieldy when doing big modifier stacks ... Nice explanation about the pages :)
Have baked all the weights in the Skin mod? If your morpher changed the shape of the base mesh enough then the mesh may have passed outside one of the envelopes. You can find the 'Bake selected verts' button(looks like an oven) under Weight Properties.
