Hi Robat I was at that game jam as well, we were the team working across the desks from you , working on the tofu game. Your sculpts are looking nice most definatly the head entry, for the cloth on the thief it might help to identify the type of fold to get cleaner forms, is it bunching? layering? or doing a zig zaggy…
I'm pretty sure they still do a month's trial so you might as well just give it a go - beats asking a robot that's recycling commentary written by people who don't know how to use it properly
@japhir: thanks for the boost man! glad to hear your looking forward to more cause i'm down for making more. @wizo: thanks for the comments man! yes i am a huge fan of those guys at behemoth, a chance to work on a sequel in any respect would be the biggest honor ever. and let's do up that character swap, i'm digging your…
Hello, any help with this has my thanks, I'm currently thinking up ideas of a scene to do as an environment piece in UDK. I want to have a robot in a room interacting with objects in the room but I want them to spawn in. I'm just not sure how to set all this up, the robot would then pick up the tube and place it in a…
In the movie, perhaps the most dramatic pose in this scene is when they are trying to get back to this ship, struggling against the viscosity of the water. Ship seems untextured. Robot should be placed elsewhere, since it is merging with the silhouette of the ship, and thus it's difficult to read. Composition-wise the ship…
Woot! Media release for the win. The non-icy environments show some of our oldest environment assets and were built before I came to the studio. Some of the things I've done are sort of scattered around throughout the shots. (And a lot of it is just behind the scenes stuff like optimized master materials built for heavy…
the robot is full of shit in this instance I'm afraid (unless the feature has been added since 9.x) you can poop out various things if you just want an outline but wireframe isn't one of them. if the update installs before the Dayz mods download I'll check in latest and post back here
I recall that toonami had a robot dude (tom) "Presenting" the shows and stuff. (Voiced by Steve Blum, which was awesome and the sendoff for the toonami block was awesome too.) And he was a robot type thing, and there were a lot of TV screens on that. Maybe toonami's bumps were the show you're thinking of? I'm probably…
Would love to see a more interesting shape on the big tree. The roots are nice, but floating. The main trunk is very straight, could be nice to make it a spiral or some other interesting shape, that complements the half-circle stage. For example, an old Juniper in Moab by Douglas Miller:
