Maya Paint Mode
I kinda got stuck in that paint mode... I tried pressing 8 to get out, but it only changes the paint mode. -

I was curious so I also checked the docs. I take that to mean that when the blend is at 1 or 0, the unused branch of the graph is not calculated This explains why they use the switch blend rather than switch nodes in so many of the built in graphs ( you get the same performance but it's easier to debug) -

If i understand this correctly you want to change all textures but not with some internal settings (nowadays maybe with nodes). hmmm...if you want to go the kismet route, maybe look into the 'consolecommand' kismet node and use it to call 'god' and that should toggle god mode. Maaaybe that will override the animation call. There's also a godmode flag in the enable cinematicmode toggle kismet node...I suppose you could turn everything else off but… -
