color is off
Hi all, I am trying to figure out why my gray material is not baking gray. Looks more brown then gray. Weird thing is when I go to unlit it looks perfect but when I bake it its definitely not gray looking. Doesnt matter what I put the material on in the scene it looks brown. If I change the color from gray to red or green,… -
[Maya] I accidentally hid my xgen hair in my perspective panel and I can't see it anymore.
I can see the ambient occlusion of the xgen hair, but not the hair itself. Turning the preview button on and off doesn't fix it. I barely know how to use maya (I use Max), so I don't know what button I pressed to do this to undo it. It appears correctly in other panels. -

You can paint on color, roughness, bump, and metallic channels all at once and adjust them each quite easily. You don't have to faff about with setting the shader up either. If you need to paint absurdly high-res stuff Mari is still your best bet, of course, although you can easily use the external editor projection… -

Love the lighting on the figure, and the soft bounce lighting! What's the source of the red light? Need to see the source, otherwise it's a bit confusing. Also why does the red light cut off in a diagonal mid-way up the wall? Statues typically have a base below them to stand on, they're not just stuck in a niche all alone.…
