@AntonioEffectsFX the texturing of the orbs is in regard to the base texture. You can create shaders to draw over the texture of the orb for example freeze, or as this does with the energy. This is rendered over the character / sphere and not an actual texture on the orb.
Can we use sounds that we recorded earlier? For example I have an idea for blade in the end, but some components I wish to use I recorded a year ago and have no access to that equipment.
Ahh nevermind I was getting expressions and functions mixed up. I've found the function, now to learn what this does. Is this function required in order to fix the problem or were you just using it in the example?
Normal map's literally don't see anything @ 90 degree's (and over) as it's perpendicular to the surface. Here's a very basic example of what's happening, the baker see's what's on the left side while the geometry is on the right.
@Obscura Sure, here are the textures. I already increased the contrast a lot. Before it was the standard Photoshop > Filter > Render > Clouds. The blue channel is used a smask but in the example i only used R + G.
Gameloft is a big place, they most likely have the lawyers to answer that question. But yeah, what MasteroftheFork said. Angry birds is a good example of a relatively simple idea that wasn't changed much at all, but the appearance was.
If your UVs don't match up with your hard edges, you will get bake errors. The handplane video should cover at about 3:40 when he starts using the cube as an example.
This is cool. Still, there is a lot of work to do. So take your time and make this site a perfect place to find any type of art. A good example is write my paper discount service. Cheers!
Automation of all things that you would have to spend a lot of time doing otherwise, like for example cables => https://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=172&page=viewtopic&t=35639
