I'm now happily typing on my new Logitech G510 keyboard ^-^ Really been looking forward to it. I got Star Ocean 1+2 for psp and some moneys too... :) Yay! And, err... gloves. Yay? :p
ZacD: 5 fps is without the grass, I did removed all the vegetation to work smoothly. I did gain few fps after hiding the ocean mesh and some part of the landscape while working... got ~10 fps
Been working on this as a side project from work, was super fun and didn't take too long either :) Concept by Lamaro Smith https://www.artstation.com/lamarosmith PolyCount Topic: https://polycount.com/discussion/209646/ocean-goddess-mask#latest
Well I hope that somebody invents teleportation soon...I'd punch 100 kittens in the face live on youtube to work on Oddworld. Hell, that's the game that made me want to work in games. Curse you, Atlantic ocean! CURSE YOU!
Hello, I've added a few more objects to the scene. Here are two pictures: I appreciate any critics. By the way... how can I change the oceans colour and opacity in the CryEngine? And is it possible to make the viewport fullscreen to take better screenshots?
Hi! :) Theme: Derelict Facility The level is situated in a massive abadoned power-station in the middle of a drained ocean...Wide industrial spaces connected by bridges and narrow alleys characterize this gameplay. WIP link : http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=138117
I think so, yeah Looks fake to me. The smoke trailing the sticks into the water, and the water mist itself look really fake. The compositing is nice though. The water (obviously from the ocean or where ever) is blended really nice to the background.
didn't anyone PAY ATTENTION to 'the day after tomorrow'? the icecaps melt, this causes more freshwater to be dumped into the oceans, disrupting the freshwater currents, playing merry hell with the weather systems, leading to the global super-storm AND WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!
I wish they were my own. I think I found them on Opera's community site. Very relaxing, and nice ass. My own personal Elysium. Plus it matches my ocean wave mouse pad. I'm such a hippie.
I used to live in Nebraska, we'd get clouds like that right before a tornado dropped out of them. They can be real spooky when they move around the sky like waves of the ocean. That's when you make sure there's access to a basement.
