Try triangulating your low poly mesh in Maya instead, not with the FBX export.

If you use HD geometry you'll have to bake with ZBrush. It doesn't export.

That's rather strange, export as an obj and import as a temporary fix. Is it just this one object?

I dunno how it's done - our exporter handles that from the TGA files.
