Thanks. I was thinking around ~100$ - 130$ top per monitor. I don't have very high standards. IPS with nice colours and black and white would be nice, 1080p, I don't mind standard 60 Hz and I don't need gsync or freesyns
I wonder how accurate those are. My SNES cost 136 dollars. I remember because I saved money for it so I could get it near launch. That site says it costed 200. But yeah, everyone forgots how much the NeoGeo and 3DO costed.
That sounds close. The poly count for the mudbox model was about 5 million, then i polycrunched it down to about 1.3 million polygons. When using polycrunch you want to get that count down to about 25% of the original. It should still have all the detail in there even at that much.
Hey guys i am back! Been working on the lowpoly and I got it to a place where i want it. I am currently at 13k Triangles. I feel like it is a low enough place where I can start UVing and baking. Here is the High Poly Here is the Low Poly
August has passed so fast and I still have so much to do. ( I'm finally done with retopology and baking normals/ao. Here's the result, about 13k tris and 2048 maps. I'm going to post some comments later. Is it ok posting after month has passed?
I don't care if it's faked gameplay or not, I just like the idea of playing a bounty hunter in the criminal underground of Star Wars. There's more to that universe than Jedi and Stormtroopers! I've been looking for a tutorial or information on how to bake a curvature map for high poly assets and can't find anything. All that I read is that you either need a NM to work the AO, curvature, etc.. from. Also, would you consider 13k high poly? It's a wall/prop piece.
I had a quick go, I think it's going to take a bit of time to get completely used to the game. I found this guide here http://www.fpsadmin.com/download/details.php?file=113 that gives more info on classes etc, worth a quick read as the game is not as simple as BF2.

AFAIK the pose and postures don't work on Bip01, you will have to do it by hand (or using other 3dsmax tools). Work down an axis (probably her facing +Y), which I think is a 90degree rotation on Bip01. Then, just work off this as your main axis... if the rotation is 103*, the inverse would be 77*.
