I shuffled some polys and made the birds rounder. What do you think? Bare in mind there will be shading applied etc which will made them look better in game. VR could be useful for modeling if it included realistic human interaction. For example, imagine shrinking down inside an environment and punching a car. Baking shouldn't interfere with your UV seams, and you should be able to define colors for the patches with a texture via the material, although I'm not sure Max or Maya have that right out of the box and you need a plugin? Or, you could spend 5 seconds looking up a picture and notice that giraffe's don't have patches in… -

I believe scripting can cause potential workarounds as far as the limitations go, thus the reasoning for not having it. Unfortunately, scripting is also a pretty big part of how we work, think even interact. Maya LT now has scripting right? I liked the movie for the most part. Thought the characters were deep enough for a hero movie/action movie. Asgard looked really cool and the rainbow bridge effects were awesome.
